The L.O.V. Principle
L is Lengthen: the body is placed in a position that lengthens the target tissue, which exposes the restriction and sets the baseline. O is Oscillation: the joint is moved gently in and out of range, improving fluid dynamics and stimulating the Golgi Tendon Organs to reduce guarding. V is Vibration: high-frequency vibration blocks pain signals, improves relaxation, increases blood flow and mobilizes connective tissue. Then evaluate against the baseline.
The baseline test
Before any protocol, capture a baseline so the result is visible. It can be subjective (reported tightness), objective (range of motion) or functional ("I can't squat without pain"). The TVT standard is two alternating marches followed by two bodyweight squats, filmed on a phone before and after. When a client sees the change they just created, a stretch becomes a story.

Questions people ask
How many Targeted Vibration Therapy protocols are there?
48 in total: 24 professional protocols (12 table, 12 cage) that make up the certification track, and 24 self-application protocols (chair and cage) used for client home programs.
What is the L.O.V. Principle?
Lengthen, Oscillation, Vibration: the three-step structure behind every TVT protocol, followed by an evaluation against the baseline captured before the protocol began.
How long is each protocol?
Each stretch is capped by the 60-second shot clock. Limiting a stretch to a minute or less helps prevent overloading the extremities and allows a more effective reset of the nervous system.
Can I learn these protocols online?
Yes. All 24 professional protocols are taught as video lessons, in Dr. Matt Gloyd's own words, inside the TVT Stretch Specialist certification at tvtstretch.com.
